June 9, 2013 – Victoria Colvin is on a roll! The junior rider piloted Inclusive to another USHJA International Hunter Derby win at the Upperville Horse and Colt show in Upperville, VA., this past weekend. The unstoppable duo placed 2nd in the Classic and 1st in the Handy for an overall 1st place – grand champion finish.

Striding to an overall 2nd place and reserve champion, Kelley Farmer and Kate Conover played musical horses with Jessica Stitt’s entry, Taken; Conover rode him to 1st place in the Classic and Farmer rode him to 2nd in the handy. The 10-year-old Dutch gelding stepped up his game and made a strong comeback after refusing a fence and retiring from the $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby at the Devon Horse Horse Show on June 2nd.

This is Colvin’s 3rd consecutive win aboard Inclusive in the last 4 weeks and Farmer has been right behind; Placing 4th at Kentucky, 2nd at Devon, and now 2nd at Upperville. It looks like these 2 riders may be going head to head at the $100,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship set to take place at the Kentucky Horse Park on August 15th, 2013.

Stay tuned for more info about the championship. You won’t want to miss the action!
