Take Charge Brandi Wires Gr.1 Starlet Stakes At Los Alamitos

The daughter of Giant’s Causeway has really come into herself over the last three months scoring three consecutive wins in the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies, the Gr.3 Delta Downs Princess Stakes, and now the Gr.1 Starlet Stakes. Trained by D. Wayne Lukas and ridden by Victor Espinoza, Take Charge Brandi is the top Eclipse Award Two-Year-Old filly contender and she has rightfully earned her place. She has won four of her eight career starts, all of which were in 2014, and has a combined winning margin of five lengths. Nothing crazy, but it’s still early in the game. It will be nice to see her grow during her 2015 campaign.
