Equestrian Fashion

The equestrian world – with its stylish outfits and overall exquisite equestrian fashion – is one of the trendiest scenes and has been an inspiration to some of the world’s most famous fashion designers for decades.

This year, models on runways donned pants that resembled breeches, tall boots, and blazers similar to show coats. Fashion campaigns included horses, barns, and show-like settings. And sometimes it even got confusing differentiating real riding apparel from designer fashion apparel.

That awkward moment when you’re at the store wearing riding clothes after being at the barn for several hours and the girl next to you is wearing designer “breeches” and “tall boots,” so you excitedly ask her “OMG where do you ride?” and she looks at you like you’re crazy because she doesn’t ride, own a horse, or has ever seen a horse in person before…

Anyone had one of those moments? You’re definitely NOT alone!

Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Hermes and high end watch designers Rolex and Longines are the most equestrian oriented of the bunch and have been incorporating equestrian style in their designs for quite some time. Catering to equestrians, they are also keen on sponsoring riders and riding events around the world.
